It has been dubbed ‘the Met Gala for mental health in the region’ and there is still time for inspiring organisations and individuals to enter ‘the mentl awards 2025’. 

Now in its third edition, ‘the mentl awards’ return this year with even greater ambition, and a powerful message: that every voice deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. 

The annual celebration honours changemakers from across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain who are reimagining how mental health is approached in business, education, society, and policy.

Deadline for entries is due to close at 11:59pm on September 30, so there is still time for organisations to have their powerful stories recognised.

“We launched ‘the mentl awards’ to recognise those who are actively reshaping our region’s relationship with mental health,” said Scott Armstrong, founder of mentl.
“This isn’t just about awards - it’s about building a movement, a community.

“It’s especially relevant as the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has declared 2025 as ‘The Year of Community’.”

A stunning new venue for 2025

This year’s winners will be crowned during a glittering gala dinner on Friday, November 21, at the Folly Brasserie by Gates Hospitality, at The Address Montgomerie in Dubai, a spectacular setting that promises an evening of inspiration, celebration, and connection.

The gala celebration will be exclusively open to mentl community members, and access will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Previous events sold out.

Community membership included with entry

Every entry to ‘the mentl awards 2025’ includes a 12-month membership to the mentl community - a dynamic network that gives members:

• Invitations to exclusive mentl events and podcast recordings

Finalists will be invited to attend the gala as part of their membership status (subject to separate purchase).

Independent, respected, meaningful

The mentl awards are given purely on merit.

Each year recipients are chosen by an independent jury of respected leaders from the public and private sector.

Healthcare professionals, mental health champions, CEOs and industry leaders, well-being advocates and inspiring individuals who push boundaries, their vote and their vote alone will determine which organisations come November 21.

The awards are open to all from the public and private sector, from start ups and SMEs to major corporates and government departments. 

From heavy industry to creative services, from cutting-edge technology to those at the frontline of care, we want to amplify and showcase best practice from all sectors and industries and raise the bar in mental health. 

Organisations, leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and everyday heroes are encouraged to enter - or nominate others - to help shine a spotlight on those who are making a difference.
